Established in 2015 and held annually in Nashville, Tenn., Venue Operations Summit fills a special need for shared knowledge and best practices, recognizing an integral workforce element in sports, entertainment, performing arts and convention facilities. Venue Solutions Group presents this summit and dedicates its purpose to venue operations and engineering professionals.  This year our event will be at the Hilton Downtown Nashville.

Past topics include building automated systems and computerized maintenance management systems, LED lighting opportunities,  planning and opening new and renovated facilities, OSHA/Safety, telescopic seating, access control, how to manage broadcast partners, managing third-party services, women in venue operations and engineering, capital expense planning, budget preparation and presentation, and leadership development. My goals are to represent clients in providing full forensic evaluation of design and construction related problems, and materials performance evaluations on both new design and restoration projects of all types. Capital asset planning, solutions for complex repair/maintenance issues and construction administration of large and small restoration projects. My specific focus of experience includes durability analysis of concrete and related construction materials, identification of deterioration mechanisms for cementitious, masonry and epoxy repair systems, expansion joints, protected-membrane waterproofing systems, exposed membrane waterproofing systems, full plaza and plaza wear surface systems, along with vertical protective coatings and waterproofing systems on concrete and steel.
